For starters, one component of this healing method involves hands-on energy transfer between the practitioner and the client. The practitioner channels the Ensofic Ray from the universe as a means to enhance their own energy and response to physical, mental and spiritual ailments. This increased energy flows through the practitioner during treatments and is transferred to the body of the client. It invigorates the energy within and raises awareness in and around the physical body where negative thoughts and feelings are contained, causing the negative energy (stress, anxiety, physical pain, sadness, etc.) to loosen its grip. In doing so, the healer can move the negative energy away from the body and clarify the pathways.

The first session of Ensofic Ray is all about working with the physical body. It works on the energies within the body, any physical ailments, or psychological issues that may underlie present physical symptoms.
This 60-minute treatment uses Ensofic Reiki, to help energies flow through the physical body in preparation for the next session.
Ensofic Reiki is being offered in collaboration with Ochsner Health as part of an integrative medicine approach within cancer care, bringing supportive, whole-person care alongside conventional oncology treatment. Ochsner describes integrative oncology as evidence-based supportive care used together with medical treatment to improve quality of life and help patients meet individualized well-being goals; it is not a replacement for cancer treatment, but a companion to it. Ochsner’s cancer program also emphasizes combining traditional treatment with supportive services to care for the whole patient.
Within this setting, Ensofic Reiki can be presented as a restorative supportive therapy intended to help regulate stress, calm the nervous system, and improve the patient’s physical sense of comfort during treatment. Research on Reiki in oncology most consistently supports short-term improvements in symptoms such as anxiety, pain, fatigue, nausea, relaxation, and overall well-being or quality of life.
